The Austin Family Chronicles

In 2007, forty years after the original publication of Madeleine LšEnglešs Newbery Award-winning classic A Wrinkle in Time, Square Fish repackaged and republished the authoršs books about the Murry family as The Wrinkle in Time Quintet. The incredible sales of this set in its first year, along with the outpouring of public grief and support following Madeleine LšEnglešs passing in September 2007, are evidence of the enduring nature of the authoršs stories and her status as one of the most beloved childrenšs authors of all time.

Now, for Fall 2008, Square Fish is delighted to present Madeleine LšEnglešs books featuring Vicky Austin and her family, grouped together as The Austin Family Chronicles for the first time. These five novels tell the stories of Vicky and the rest of the Austins as they grow individually as people, and together as a family‹through crises and travels, love and conflict, and the joys and sorrows of daily life. The story of the Austins has autobiographical elements, mirroring Madeleinešs life and the life of her family.
